Value generation is beginning to emerge with improved ML driven process outcomes, query capabilities, improved analytics, and both interactive and autonomous process control. While popular LLM’s can generate improved productivity in certain of these areas, they fall short in their ability to create value for complex manufacturing given the deep domain understanding of processes, machines, materials, labor and data required to run those operations effectively.
